Every child’s first hero is his father: Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag extend wishes on Father’s Day


On Father’s Day (June 19), the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh, Rohit Sharma, Rani Rampal among others, lead the way in extending the wishes.

Former India cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag extended their wishes on Father’s Day (June 19).

Tendulkar shared a video and revealed how he has not only preserved the cradle used by his father, but converted it into a swing on which he spends time.

“Every child’s first Hero is his father. I was no different. Even today, I remember what he taught me, his unconditional love & how he let me find my own path. Happy Father’s Day everyone!” Tendulkar tweeted.

Sehwag wrote in Hindi, saying: “Everything is available in the market except the love of parents!”

“From being a son of a great father to being a father of 2 amazing children, it has been an amazing journey! To all the fathers out there, #HappyFathersDay! You are all superheroes,” said Harbhajan Singh.

Rani Rampal said: “Father is like a neem tree, its leaves may be bitter but it gives cool shade.”

Geeta Phogat wrote: “A father is the pride of his children, which no one can break.”

The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) shared a picture of Venus Williams taking lessons from her father, Richard.

In a video shared by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), India fast bowler Umesh Yadav spoke about how fatherhood has changed his life.
