Fans were fuming about Virat Kohli’s fielding effort in the third T20I after the star batter dropped an easy catch off Liam Livingstone on Harshal Patel’s bowling in Nottingham.
The incident happened in the 19th over when Livingstone tried to slam a short delivery from Harshal Patel. Livingstone got hold of it but hit it flat towards deep square leg. Kohli came in a bit too quickly and was casual with it as he ended up fumbling it.

England rode on Dawid Malan’s 77-run knock and Livingstone’s unbeaten 42-run innings to post a solid total of 215 for 7 after winning the toss and deciding to bat against India in the third T20 International at Trent Bridge on Sunday. In the absence of Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the Indian bowlers were taken apart by the English batters. Malan was the top scorer with 77 runs off just 39 balls with 6 fours and 5 sixes.
Livingstone also plundered an unbeaten 42 runs in just 29 balls with 4 sixes. For India, Ravi Bishnoi and Harshal Patel picked up 2 wickets each while Avesh Khan and Umran Malik grabbed 1 wicket each. Earlier, England captain Jos Buttler won the toss & opted to bat first against India in the 3rd T20I. This match is being played at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.
