As the 2022 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) came to an end on Sunday, the cash-rich tournament took a giant leap and entered the Guinness Book of World Records with the largest cricket jersey.
During the IPL final match between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahemdabad, a giant jersey was put on display. The host and former cricketer Ravi Shastri announced it was the largest jersey in the world, measuring 66 X 44 meters.

The jersey had number 15 imprinted on it, representing the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League. It also had the logo of the 10 teams that competed in the competition from March 26 to May 29.
The Narendra Modi Stadium is the largest cricket stadium in the world, with a seating capacity of 132,000 spectators.
In the final, Gujarat Titans defeated Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets and clinched the IPL trophy in their maiden season and in front of their home crowd.
